Update to Beneficiaries – unauthorised contact by Mondial Dubai (warning by McGrath Nicholl, receivers)
Fraudster Mark Donnelly was not content with just stealing millions from the Brite Advisors victims. He is now trying to sign up the very same victims to his new gig: Mondial Dubai LLC.
The liquidators of Brite Advisors – McGrath Nicholl – have issued this warning:
“The Receivers have been made aware that beneficiaries of Brite Advisors have been contacted by Mondial Dubai LLC from email address clientservices@mondialdubai.com in relation to investment advice services. Mark Donnelly, former CEO and founder of the Brite Group, purchased a majority stake (75%) in Mondial in 2023. Please be aware that the Receivers have not authorised Mondial to utilise Brite Advisors’ customer contact data to contact the Beneficiaries of Brite Advisors.”
This is typical behaviour of most fraudsters in the murky offshore world. Even when already caught red-handed in blatant acts of mishandling and stealing their victims’ life savings and pensions, fraudsters like Donnelly usually come back for a second bite of the cherry.
Donnelly and his wife Carole – along with accomplices at Brite Advisors including Lymer, Clarke, Johnsson, Nicholson, Falzon, Chun and Lissenden – have been identified and reported by McGrath Nicholl for:
- breaching a number of provisions of the Client Money Contraventions Act
- systemic mishandling of client funds and client assets
- breaches of trust
- knowing receipt of trust property
- misappropriation of client funds
- dishonest, misleading and deceptive conduct
- misusing client money
- concealing the shortfall in client funds/assets
- misreporting to clients of their asset position
- misleading the auditors and regulatory authorities
- various violations of obligations relating to financial records and financial reporting
- failing to assist the receivers
- failing to provide Brite Advisors’ records,
Convicted criminal Donnelly has worked on joint ventures with convicted criminal Gordon Couch, Nigel Green of deVere and another accomplice called Peter Manktelow.
Nigel Green has made no effort to publicly (or otherwise) condemn the actions of Donnelly – or show any sympathy for the thousands of victims of Brite Advisors. It really is time for him to disclose openly and publicly what his real relationship with Donnelly has been over the years. – and to help the people who have suffered from the actions of Donnelly, Brite Advisors and Tribune.
